Recognizing Anger:-
You should recognize your anger before learning any techniques to control it. You need to recognize the psychological signs of anger. Some psychological signs are ; anxiety, stress, raising your voice, sweating, sad, depressed, increased heart rate , grinding your teeth, etc. You also need to answer these questions like what people/event/surroundings make me angry.  How does my angry behavior affect others? What do I do while feeling angry? Do I hurt myself by taking pills? Do you break things around you? Do you hit other person? You need to continuously ask these questions to recognize your anger severity.

Counting Down:-


You always heard this technique so many times from our elders. But we never tried to implement it in our life. Counting down is the greatest way to forget about the current situation and feel better. One should start counting down from 100 to 1. It gives you a chance to think before act. This technique is very simple and still very effective.

Repeat A Mantra:-
Whenever you become angry on someone, you should try to repeat a mantra or a word or a sentence that can help you to calm down. It can be like “OK” or “All is well” or “Relax” or “Take it Easy”. Repeat that word again and again to yourself which will ultimately help you to reduce your anger.

Talk To Someone:-

It is very important to express your anger in front of the one you trust the most. Talk to your friend about what is bothering you. He / She could be your best friend/ Partner/Family member who can probably provide you the solution. While doing so, it will help you to release your pain and make you feel better.

Think Before You Respond:-


When we are getting angry, we are out of control & abuse the person that we will regret later. You should be careful with your words. One should take a few moments before saying anything and think whether it is appropriate. By doing so, you can avoid hurting other person. Eventually, it will improve your relationships.

Listening Music:-

Music is the best way to feel relaxed and happy. One should start listen their favorite music. By listening favorite music, your mood will change instantly and you will feel better. It will help you to forget about your anger. Also, one should start playing musical instrument like guitar, piano, etc.

Write Down In Your Diaries:-
Writing down your feelings / expressions is proven to be the most effective way. It is one of the best tools to express your emotions. You can write whatever you feel and let your thoughts flow freely. It will help you to figure out your anger triggering thoughts. By identifying your triggers, you can easily try to control the responses to those triggers. It will surely improve your mood and manage your anger.

Do Exercises:-


Physical activity can help you to reduce your stress and anger. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins which give you a positive feeling in the body. You can go for a walk or do yoga or go to the gym or some breathing exercises. It will improve your mood and decrease the feeling of anger, anxiety and stress.

Practice Empathy:-


There is one saying,” Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes”. It means we need to understand his/her experiences, challenges, thought process etc. It is very critical to empathizes with them who are angry on you.  No one is born with empathy, but we should try to practice it to reduce anger feeling. It is so easy to dislike someone and being judgmental about them. Instead of this, we can all judge each other with kindness and empathy. By showing empathy to others, you are also being kind to yourself and feeling happy. It can help you to slow down your aggressive behavior.

Laugh:-


The last thing you can do is laugh. It is the best medicine to get over from negativity. It can help you to release the frustration. By doing smile, you can stimulate positive vibration for yourself and you will get to know that whatever had happened had a reason behind it. It is about being grateful for you. It will increase our satisfaction level and reduce the feeling of jealousy and comparison.

Count Your Blessings:-


Jealousy arises from feelings of insecurity, low self esteem and low confidence. But; you have countless reasons to be thankful for the life what you have been given. For example, if we purchase a small car and one of my friend purchases luxurious car, we might get disturbed and feeling jealousy. It’s a human nature to constantly having better than their relatives and surroundings.

There is a saying,”The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have”. Whenever you are feeling jealousy, start writing five things you are thankful for. One should try to count their goodness in their life. It will make them happy.

Let Go Of The Jealousy:-


It’s a human nature to get stuck sometimes in a single thought. First step is to remember that we have a choice in letting go. One should try to stop thinking and worrying about it.
